What I Do
I split my time between two worlds. By day I work in network infrastructure and telecom, supporting hotel properties across the country. By night I’m on the farm, managing cattle, raising poultry, and working the land. These aren’t separate lives. The same problem-solving mindset that keeps a hotel’s phone system running is the same one that gets a calf through a tough night.

(About Me)
I grew up in Western Pennsylvania and never really left. I got my first chicken at the Butler Fair when I was three years old and I’ve had them ever since. Somewhere along the way I picked up a career in telecom, started a registered Angus herd, bought a 55-acre farm, and began raising a family with my fiancée Hannah. I don’t do any one thing; I do a lot of things and I try to do all of them well.
Show up. Whether it’s a calving at 2 AM or a network outage at a hotel, being there is the job.
(Principles)
Presence
Show up. Whether it’s a calving at 2 AM or a network outage at a hotel, being there is the job.
Acountibility
If something goes wrong on my farm or on my network, I own it. No excuses.
Patience
Good cattle genetics take generations. Good networks take planning. Nothing worth building happens fast.
Honesty
I say what I mean. On my blog, in my pitches, and in person.
Hands On
I don’t manage from a desk. I pull calves, I crimp cables, I dig post holes.
Long Game
Every decision I make on the farm and in my career is about where I want to be in 10 years, not next week.
